Miss Maker didn't know what to make, so she goes on a creative adventure to her friends to get ideas. Mr Wood gives her a piece of wood. Mr Paint and Mrs Paintbrush give her some paint. Baby Clay gives her some clay. With a backpack full of treasures, she heads home — ready to discover that the best idea was inside her all along.

About TJ Harries
Hi, I'm TJ Harries, the author of the Miss Maker children's books. For over 20 years I've worked with children in childcare, long-day care and outside-school-hours care, and I've loved watching their development grow.
My days were full of arts and crafts, baking and STEM science activities that challenge each child's imagination - because every child learns and creates differently. Miss Maker is my way of sharing that creative adventure: a little redhead maker based on me.
