All About TJ Harries
Hi, I'm TJ Harries, the author of Miss Maker's children's books. It started when I was a child; I had always had extensive creative ability and could usually make anything. Throughout my career, I have successfully applied my skills within children's services. I have worked with children in childcare, long-day care, and outside school hours care for over 20 years, and I have enjoyed educating and watching children's development grow. I loved programming, arts and craft, baking and science (STEM) activities that will challenge their age development abilities and observe how they manage to accomplish the activities with their creative minds, recognising that each child learns differently and does things differently. So, what better way to express my creative adventure than to create a children's story that represented my arts and crafts, baking and science adventure. Starting with my character, Miss Maker, who was based on me — a little creative redhead. Come and explore Miss Maker and the creative adventures, and see where her adventure goes.
